SUMMARY:Youth Theater (TBD)
DESCRIPTION:Youth Theater Day features a play performed by area young people in grades 3-9 and written by David City High School’s award-winning speech and drama coach\, Jarod Ockander. The day-long event features workshops in acting\, character development\, and stage direction as the students learn and rehearse the play that they will present that evening. Some of Ockander’s speech and drama students assist him with the day’s activities. It’s a great way to highlight the performing talents of young people in the area. The date is TBA\, but the time will be 6:30 p.m.\, at the David City High School Activities Center.
